Welcome to the WSB Writing Lab!

In-person Appointments (20, 40, or 60 minutes) allow writers to meet in-person with a writing consultant to brainstorm ideas, practice writing concepts, receive formative feedback on a draft, and develop plans for writing or revising their work. Most in-person consulting is appointment based, but drop-in appointments are usually available throughout the day. The WSB Writing Lab is located on the second floor of the Keller Building in KB202b.

Online Appointments allow writers to submit an assignment online to be tutored asynchronously (meaning the assignment will be tutored and sent back with feedback—the student and tutor do not meet virtually). Online appointment feedback includes suggestions for formatting, organization, style (punctuation and grammar), and content based on the assignment instructions, which should be uploaded along with the paper/assignment itself.
